SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities)

The SENDCo oversees the following areas in school:
- Review and update the SEND policy and ensure it is followed
- In liaison with teachers, identify children with SEND and collate relevant information
- Ensure that appropriate personal targets are in place for children on the SEND register and reviewed regularly
- Organise and attend reviews for pupils who are on the SEND register
- Liaise with parents and other professionals
- Advise and support other practitioners
Our SEND School Information report offers information for parents in a single place, which helps them to understand what services they and their family can expect from a range of local agencies.
