Homework

Reading 

Your child will be sent home with two reading books every week. This includes a book banded book at their reading level and a book from our library to encourage reading for pleasure. Please read with your child as often as you can and send them into school with their book and diary. The children will be encouraged to change their books independently when they finish. 

Spelling 

The children will be using Spelling Shed to practise their spellings, which they can also access at home with their individual log in. A spelling list will also be available on the class page. The children will be tested on their weekly spellings every Friday. 

Maths 

Your child will be sent home with a weekly maths challenge. More information will follow.
