Science - Light

This half-term, Year 6 are learning about Light and how we see objects. They have been discovering how light travels from a light source onto an object and this is then reflected into our eye.

Lunch Time Leader Training 

Our Year 6 Sports Captains and Wellbeing Ambassadors took part in Lunchtime Leader Training during which they learnt a range of fun, inclusive activities to encourage participation and positive play during break times and lunchtimes. The leaders will use these skills to organise and lead activities for the younger children at school.

Collective Worship

Year 6 introduced our value for this half-term (Respect) to the children at school during Collective Worship. The children explained the meaning behind respect, how Jesus demonstrated this through his actions and how we can demonstrate respect both at school and at home.
