Some children may be finding their day-to-day challenging without their friends or the routine of school. They may be unsure or a little upset. If this is the case, or if you want to practise mindfulness, there are a couple of things you could do with your child. In Year One, we use a breathing method called 'Birthday Candles' - we hold up five fingers, then slowly blow them out one by one, putting down a finger out as we do so. We also use 'Zen Den', part of Cosmic Kids Yoga, to help keep us focused and calm.
