Week commencing 1.3.21

Hello Year 3!

While you're at home, you might have been playing tag in the garden or building a fort with your family in the living room. Maybe you and your family are looking for new, fun ideas about how to be active each day. When we are all back in school, we are going to be busy keeping active too!

To celebrate the rescheduled Toyko 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, everyone at Radford Semele is going to be working as a team to log our physical activity and try to get all the way to Tokyo... that's 47,349 kilometres! All different kinds of physical activity count and, along the way, we will get the chance to win prizes. Follow this link to find out more:

The more activity you log, the more you can help us progress towards Tokyo! All you need is our school post code (CV31 1TQ) to be able to find our school team and log your activity. This video shows how easy it is to log your activities:
Get everyone you can involved as you can also log how many family or friends you did the activity with. This Home Activities can give you lots of fun, new activities you won't have tried before:

We will continue logging our physical activities even when we all return to school!.... Tokyo, here we come!

Ms Brown

Above is some more lovely online learning for you to work through at home this week.  Thank you so much for sending me photos of your work so that I can see how you are getting on. It has been wonderful seeing many of you on Zoom over the past couple of weeks too - don't forget that we will be meeting again this Monday at 9:30am!

I look forward to receiving the following each week so that I can review and check how you are getting on at home:

 Your completed Writing task for the week

 At least one example of a completed Maths activity per week

 At least one example of a completed Reading activity per week

**It is much easier if these can all come together as attachments on 1 email to help me to stay organised please!**
