This week in Theme, we will continue to focus on Shackleton's journey to Antarctica. Watch my video below of me reading 'Ice Trap' by Meredith Hooper and M.P Robertson. Then, you will be completing a timeline of events to show what Shackleton experienced in chronological order (time order - the order in which they happened!).

 

You can either:

• write these dates into a timeline on a piece of paper
• type these dates onto a timeline in word document
• print these dates out and stick them on a timeline on a piece of paper

 

Remember, the dates start from the earliest date at the beginning to the last date at the end of your timeline. We have practised this skill before in our Anglo-Saxons and Vikings theme so hopefully you will be superstars!

Below you will find the document with three templates to use for your timeline (you can use your own if you find it easier!). Use the other document to help you find the key dates and events. Then copy these in chronological order onto your own timeline :)
