The United Kingdom

We are continuing our work on the United Kingdom by investigating the difference between human and physical features before thinking about landmarks in the UK. You may wish to use Google Earth or Google Maps (both linked below) to explore some features or landmarks. The task is to create a postcard of a human landmark and a physical landmark from around the UK. 

  • BBC Teach - The United Kingdom This video shows a physical and human feature of each country in the UK as well as giving a bit of information about the features shown. You can use these for the postcard task, or choose your own.
