• What if every material was rigid (not bendable)? 

Challenge: to design a boat to carry animals on a journey across the ocean. Think carefully about the different materials you would use for this - label them and explain why. 

You might want to start by investigating which materials float or sink...! 

Remember that the animals will need some form of shelter too.
