This week, we are continuing our work on rocks. The task involves investigating different types of rock to see their properties. If you are able to do this with stones or bits of man-made rock such as brick or concrete, please do so - you don't have to know the name of the rock, just remember to put a number on your samples! If you aren't able to do this, then there is an alternate lesson from Oak Academy below looking at observing the differences between rocks and categorising them.

Before you start, here is a link to the video that we watched last week explaining the three different types of natural rock. Please be aware that the video is hosted on YouTube and there may be adverts and comments.
