Science

Over the next few weeks, we will be observing evaporation. You will need to take measurements and make observations over a series of days.

Go outside to look at a puddle (you might need to create your own puddle if it doesn't rain!). How big is it? How could you measure it? Observe the shape and size of the puddle over the next few days by taking measurements, using chunky chalk to mark the floor, taking photographs etc. Can you record the data that you collect in a table or graph?

Where does the water go when the puddle disappears? Research evaporation. Could you set up any other experiments in your home where you can see evaporation happening?
