Reading

Our reading sessions follow the same format as those in school -  each week you will have a text which I will read aloud, you will have vocabulary to discover the definitions of and 3 sets of VIPERS questions to answer (full sentences please!)

Watch the video of me reading through this week's reading text. Once you have watched the video, write down 6 unfamiiar words and find out the definitions in a dictionary. Once you know the definitions, read through the text again to deepen your understanding.

Friday 5th March

Today's reading session is read for pleasure time. Find somewhere comfy to sit and enjoy reading a book of your choice for 20 minutes or you may wish to access one of the Scholastic Workshops as detailed in the World Book Week tab (please ask your parent to register you for the workshop).
