This week's text for VIPERS is ‘Captain Tom Moore’ – a newspaper report which will help you with our Writing for this week (it is also the same text as our WAGOLL in Tuesday's Writing lesson!). Make sure you find 5 unfamiliar words, find the definitions and write them down to check your understanding of the vocabulary.

Then for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday you will have some VIPERS questions to answer, remember to write in full sentences. As with all of the home-learning work, please do not worry about printing if you are unable to. It is absolutely fine for you to write your answers on a notepad. On Fridays, you should read a book of your choice for pleasure and watch the short video.
