We use White Rose Maths material in our classroom and they have produced excellent home learning maths packs for each year group. Each week of work is based around a book (you don’t need to own the books!) and there is one activity for each day. Please change, simplify, extend so that is appropriate for your child.

Week commencing 13th July The work this week is based on How Many Legs by Kes Gray and Jim Field. Please remember that you don't need the book to complete the activities!

Week Commencing 6th July - the work this week is based on The Dinosaur that Pooped a Plant by Tom Fletcher and Dougie Poynter It's all about dinosaurs this week! 2D and 3D shapes, making patterns, adding more to an amount, doubling, sharing and ordering items by length and height. You also get to create a volcano!

Week Commencing 29th June - this week's maths is based on the book Oliver's Vegetables by Vivian French This week you will be exploring patterns, problem solving - involving addition and subtraction within 20 and doubles and halves, measuring using non-standard units and exploring ordinal numbers by creating your own playlist for a kitchen disco!

Week commencing 22nd June - the maths work this week is based on Zog by Julia Donaldson The children will be exploring pattern, adding and taking away, comparing quantities using more and fewer, measuring time and distance as well as measuring quantities.
