Thursday - Making totals of £1

Using what you have learnt about making totals of 10p and £1, today you are going to be thinking about how we can use this to help make £1.

Look back at your work on making 10p and making 20p. What can you remember about our work about number facts to 10 and 20? How can we use this to help make £1?

REMEMBER: £1 = 100p (so we are making totals of 100!).

Can you...

1) Count in 10's?

2) Count in 20's?

3) Count in 5's?

4) Count in 50's?

e.g. 20p + 20p + 20p + 20p + 20p = £1 (or 100p)

Please complete the sheet below.

Challenge: Can you mix any coins to reach 100p (£1)

e.g. - 50p + 20p + 20p + 10p = 100p (£1)
